The Gods We Can Touch
What is this album about?
The album claims a woman's authority over what she is, taking appetite, skin and love as things given, and answering everyone who would cure, condemn or own her.
How Does This Release Move Across Its Tracks?
The album sets a claim of jurisdiction early: one person seated inside the whole pattern of the world, and a refusal to let a surface decide who she is. It turns when that jurisdiction is tested from inside, through a partner who would cure her and a bond running on her forgiving.
The argument widens at its centre to a world being taken from, then answers the middle directly with appetite named as given and shame refused aloud. That peak sits two positions from the close. The album settles on a person keeping herself upright and asking to be carried, and then on a shared going held at its approach.

What Might This Release Do to a Listener?
An individual who takes in the whole album acquires a durable claim on their own definition, and a lowered tolerance for appraisal arriving from outside. Across the running order the material pairs that claim with accurate language for the bonds that undo it, so recognition and attachment settle as compatible states.
Repeated exposure produces fluency about harm alongside a slower readiness to leave it, and shame attached to ordinary wanting declines across the same span. The individual grows quicker to name what is being done to them, and readier to state a wish they have not yet acted on.
What Might This Release Do to a Society?
A society that takes the whole album into common circulation relocates the authority to define a person toward the person being defined, and the institutions that assign moral standing lose ground in the same motion. Demands that someone account for an appetite, a surface or a difficulty begin to require an argument.
At the population level the licence granted to extraction narrows and the penalties attached to desire lighten. People grow fluent in describing intimate harm, and the interval between recognising a costly bond and acting on it lengthens across the same span. The aggregate effect is a public more confident about who owns a person and slower to leave what costs them.

Dogma Reference
Dogma Reference is a metadata tag, not a score modifier. It flags only when a specific doctrinal framework (Christian, Islamic, Karmic/Dharmic, Institutional) is load-bearing — when worshipping inside, proclaiming, or asserting that doctrine is what the work is for. Naming the sacred does not fire the tag, and neither does a passing scriptural allusion used to illustrate a point in an otherwise secular work. Doing the doctrine does.
